After yesterday’s post about how annoyed I was by airline pricing strategies, I came across one today that completely shows how to make the customer experience an enjoyable one. Norwegian Airlines at each point showed me the complete cost of the ticket each including all charges. At the end, it displays the cost with the tax that was charged as you can see in the little summary below.

If you’ve going to invent a new product that is more than just an incremental improvement, then that new product requires a new slot in the mind, a new way of thinking. Giving it a name that permanently links it to old thinking doesn’t help.

According to this article, eating less than the normal recommended amount slows the ageing process in the body. Very interesting theory.

Well, the move to a new web hosting service was not as straightforward as I had assumed. I had to maintain this site on the old hosting provider for an extra couple of months while I sorted out php incompatibilities between the providers. There is one site that I currently redesigning and once that is finished, I can return to new development.

This is the first post from a new webhost. The interface is quite different and I am expecting some teething problems as I move my other sites over. Better get back to work!
