Advanced level white people are often the poorest white people in terms of money but the richest in terms of credibility and respect.

PicLens is an amazing browser addon. It basically takes over the whole screen and provides a very intuitive way of browsing through photographs and videos on sites like Flickr and YouTube. It can run on any site after some modifications and there is also a wordpress plugin to enable a photo blog run through wordpress. It’s been a while since my jaw has opened at something on the web but this is really special. Go on, give it a try!
This is the map showing the number of downloads of Firefox 3 during the day. The most interesting statistic is that Iran is in the top 7 countries in the world for downloads beating Canada, China and Australia.
It’s 30 minutes to the release of Firefox 3 and the site is creaking already. Taking ages just to load the existing page.
I’ve only just heard about this. Live Mesh looks very exciting as a way of keeping your own data local but being able to access it in a variety of ways.

Verdict
Asus has done a brilliant job of updating an already great product. The engineers have clearly listened to all the comments regarding the original Eee PC and attempted to put them right. The 1,024 wide screen makes the Eee PC 900 a joy to use, especially if you spend a lot of your time in a browser window. The extra memory and storage are also very welcome additions, and help make this version of the Eee PC a real alternative to a fully featured notebook.
Yes the price is higher than the previous model, but I personally believe that the Eee PC 900 still represents staggering value for money. Ultimately, if you want a notebook that’s small, light and still very affordable, the Eee PC 900 should be top of your list
